FALL ACTIVITIES CLOSED TODAY, 9/20

Unfortunately due to all the rain yesterday and the weather forecast today we are closing our fall area. That also means the balloon lift off is cancelled for today.

Our main market will still be open serving up food and drink from 11-5 so come see us!

Hopefully Mother Nature cooperates and we can resume the fall fun this Saturday 🎃

🚨BALLOON UPDATE🚨

Unfortunately for today, 9/19 the balloons have been cancelled due to weather. We apologize to anyone who was planning on coming out— we are just as disappointed as you are! As of right now we are still a go for tomorrow’s lift off.

We still have all of our fall activities going on until 7pm so you can still come have fun! Come take a wagon ride to the pumpkin patch, get lost in the maze, see the pumpkin cannon, and so much more.

Happy first day of Fall at Maize Valley! 🍂🍂🍂 Join us for our first fall festival of the season from 12-7! We have a very special weekend with our Hot Air Balloon Liftoff event both today and tomorrow.

In addition to this, our fall area is open! Come and enjoy our 8-acre corn maze, pumpkin cannon demonstration, duck races, apple cannon, and much more!

See hot air balloons TOMORROW and Sunday at our Hot Air Balloon liftoff weekend! Half a dozen balloons will take to the sky against the backdrop of all of our fall harvest activities.

Take a wagon ride, navigate the corn maze, visit the animals, marvel at the pumpkin cannon and so much more. Take a break from the outdoor fun with a visit to our Winery & Craft Brewery. Sip, sample and taste the many w**es and b**rs we offer. With all of our fall fun, your family will be entertained for hours.

Our fall festivities will also be open from 12-7, and the liftoff will be around 4-7.

Fall Food Specials are HERE! We are so excited to introduce our fall specials for this season. Pictured above is our Cranberry Brie Melt, Pumpkin Pesto Pizza, Apple Maple Bacon Burger, and Sweet and Spicy Chicken.

Our Pumpkin Pesto Pizza is a delicious way to start off your meal with homemade whipped pumpkin feta, sage pesto, cranberries, bacon, and argula.

Our Cranberry Brie melt is a toasted sandwich on sourdough bread with melty brie cheese and cranberry jam.

The Apple Maple Bacon Burger is an angus burger topped with Terrapin Ridge Apple Maple Bacon Jam, bleu cheese crumbles, and fresh arugula.

Finally, the Sweet and Spicy chicken has returned! This sandwich is an all-time Maize Valley favorite with cheddar cheese, candied jalapenos, a sweet bourbon glaze, lettuce, tomato, and chicken on a ciabatta.

Do you have your tickets for the Steinholding Competition yet?

September 27th, 2026 at 3:00 pm will be our third annual Stein Holding Contest! We are so excited to be hosting the event with both a Men’s and Women’s division. The winners of each division will have the opportunity to compete at the state competition in Cincinnatti on October 17th and receive a Maize Valley prize package (hint – there’s b**r in the prize package). Second and third place in each division will also win a Maize Valley Prize package.

What is a Stein Holding Contest? It is quite simply a contest to see who can hold a full litre of b**r straight out at arm length, for the longest amount of time. Of course there are a variety of rules, (you can’t wear a brace, you can’t bend your arm, etc.) and we’ll cover all the details prior to the start of the contest. There are even training tips located here!
