For 50 years, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Harrisonburg-Rockingham County has been creating opportunities for young people through the power of mentorship. Every match we make and every relationship we support is possible because of a team that believes deeply in our mission.
Today, we took time to celebrate the people who make that work happen every day. From enrolling new families and volunteers to supporting lasting mentoring relationships, attending community events, sharing stories, and building partnerships, each member of our staff plays an important role in helping local youth realize their full potential.
We also celebrated several staff members reaching milestone work anniversaries this year. Their years of dedication reflect a lasting commitment to the youth, families, volunteers, and community we serve, and we are incredibly grateful for the experience, passion, and heart they bring to our agency.
As we celebrate our 50th anniversary, we're reminded that our impact is built one relationship at a time—and that behind every successful mentoring match is a team working together to ignite the power and promise of youth.
