Agora Downtown Market is a large retail space full of opportunities for artisans, creative entrepreneurs, and craftsmen in the heart of Historic Downtown Harrisonburg. We are at the epicenter of the City's booming res

urgence and the home of Virginia's first Arts & Cultural District and only Culinary District. We are located at 165 South Main Street in the Wine Bros. building, above Ruby’s Arcade, beside Clementine and across the street from Massanutten Regional Library & the Explore More Discovery Museum. We are also diagonal of the Hardesty-Higgins House Visitor Center. This is a beautiful old building that has been completely updated and remodeled. The space is 7,000 square feet in total with brand new bathrooms, windows, heating and cooling, flooring, ceiling, etc. We opened on June 1st, 2017. Agora Downtown Market is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10 am – 6 pm. Broad Porch Coffee is open Tuesday through Saturday from 8 am - 6 pm.

Let me reintroduce myself! My name is Ocean Burriss, and I’m the owner of Simply Natural Living 🌿

We are a 100% natural and sustainable retail store + refill shop located in downtown Harrisonburg, VA.

Before starting Simply Natural Living, I worked as a nurse. On the side, I was creating all-natural skincare and cleaning products, setting up at vendor events, and eventually getting my products into 7 stores across Virginia and 1 in North Carolina.

After a lot of thought, I stepped away from nursing to help in the office with our HVAC business. About a year later, I realized I had a choice—either fully grow Simply Natural or step away from it. I chose to go all in… and opening a storefront became the next step!

When I’m not running the shop, working behind the scenes, or helping in the HVAC office, I love spending time with my dog Bre, traveling on the weekends, and camping 🐾

I’m also getting married in just 3 short months to my fiancé, Jason, who has been incredibly supportive and encouraging throughout this entire journey 💍
