What a morning. As promised, we've had Comcast/Xfinity here all morning dealing with issues. Hopefully we get somewhere today. At least we got our telephone problems fixed so call in those orders! Mandi is ready to answer the phone!!!

Today is Tuesday. The grill is still fired up, and we are ready for BBQ Chicken dinners, Steak dinners and back by popular demand - Pork Chop dinners. And yes, you can get that delicious Borsin cheese sauce with anything you want, not just the pork chop! Grilled dinners start at 5:00 pm.

To all our faithful Lions fans and other customers who packed the Pub today, I have the utmost gratitude for each and every one of you. Despite all the TV connectivity issues, you stayed faithful, you stayed cheerful, and most importantly, you STAYED. Great win in the end and we are looking forward to many more.

I also want you all to know that I’ve already lit a HUGE fire under Comcast/Xfinity and they guarantee me that they will be out this week to fix everything. I sure plan on holding them to it. Believe me - as frustrating as it is/was for all of you, it was 10-fold for me. I’m a fixer. I like to fix things when they break or when something goes wrong. Unfortunately, I’m a complete idiot when is comes to technology, internet, connectivity and the like. And even more unfortunate, when something goes wrong with the tv/internet service, it’s not like just calling a different plumber to come fix the issue. For now we are stuck with Comcast and I’m doing everything humanly possible to get things fixed this week. So stay tuned for updates this week.

Lobster Roll fest continues today. You all KICKED OUR BUTTS yesterday with these. Sold a record amount with more walk-ins than reservations. That has never happened before. So, we have more fresh live lobsters going into the spa treatment right now for today. Walk-ins will be more limited today, but we will still have some.

Lots of drink specials today. Just tell Mandi what you like.

It's Lobster Roll Weekend!! Yippee!

Come in all day today and tomorrow to get the only real, fresh, claw, knuckle and tail meat lobster claws anywhere in Michigan. Our rolls are jam packed with chunks of REAL lobster that were alive and swimming off the coast of Maine just a few days ago. They are dipped in butter, jammed into a butter toasted, split-top brioche bun and then served with a side of MORE BUTTER and chips - all for $27! These are so good that OTHER restaurant owners come here to eat. Nothing could make us prouder ... or grateful.

(And for the doubters who still exist out there - check out the size of these lobster tails!!! IF you need to come check out the carcasses to make sure we are using the real thing, make it quick because these will be used for lobster bisque soon!)

Today is also COLLEGE FOOTBALL SATURDAY and DETROIT TIGERS' DAY (Justin Verlander is pitching his last game ever). We will have lots of games on TV today.

The Tigers play at 1:10 pm.

Michigan game is at 3:30 pm and Michigan State is at 5:00 pm. LOTS of other college games today too.

Gameday specials include $1 off all "munchies" on our menu all day today.

TGIF. Do people say that anymore? Are there still any TGIF restaurants? Well, regardless, it's Friday. The sun is shining and the weekend is looking good so far so let's get rolling!

Friday means Fish Fry's all over town (and the Midwest, for sure). We think ours is one of the best. Come get your fish specials cooked the way you like. We have the usual plus smelt, bang bang shrimp, fried shrimp and the like. Get your fish with fries, tots, onion rings, mac n cheese ... pretty much any way you want it. Rather have a fish sandwich, as for it.

Soups today include our award-winning Clam Chowder, Chicken Lemon Rice and Lasagna soup. Of course, chili is always available too.

Karaoke tonight at 9:00 with DJ Deeds.

Anyone want to go to the Michigan vs Iowa football game in Ann Arbor tomorrow at The Big House? Let me know. I have 4 tickets.

Thirsty Thursday?? We have the cure for whatever ails you, especially thirst and hunger pains!

Today is Pizza Thursday. Start with our own homemade dough that is absolutely full of all the stuff that other pizza places advertise they are cutting out of their dough to be "healthier." Well, it's pizza. We can give you a salad on top of your pizza if you want it "healthier." No, here at JSP, our pizzas are full of flavor! And everyone wants FLAVOR. They just don't want to know where it's coming from 😅. Our Double Zero flour may or may not be bromated or contain other chemicals (i.e. Flavor). And our dough may or may not ferment in a cold refrigerator precisely at 37 degrees for precisely 68 hours - NOT 67 and definitely not 70 hours. Just 68 hours makes it perfect. And then the cheese - OMG the cheese! It only comes from our own cows that we raise on our own farm that only get fed by hand, the cows are forced to play with kids for at least 3 hours every day and they are massaged every night before going to bed. THIS really makes the best cheese. 😂😂

Seriously though, these are really good homemade pizzas, starting with the dough. It has all the chew and crisp and everything you want from a great pizza and a slight bit of char. Definitely NOT burnt. Our sauce is homemade too and it's extremely simple (another place flavor REALLY comes from). Then get whatever toppings you want, including great cheese. All our round pizzas are essentially personal size at 12" and all start at $12.

We do also have a limited amount of personal pan pizzas today as well. Try it "JSP Detroit Style" if you like with the sauce on the top (just note that the JSP Detroit Style has sauce on BOTH the bottom and top cuz no one likes a dry pizza crust.)
