🔥 A LITTLE EXPLANATION FROM HOLY SMOKES BBQ HBG…

I’ve gotten a few questions about why Holy Smokes BBQ HBG is now working with Luongo Barbecue, so I wanted to take a minute to explain.

First and most importantly — Holy Smokes isn’t going anywhere! I’ll still be creating BBQ content, sharing recipes and cooks, doing reviews, and having some fun with small events, contests, and giveaways along the way.

The truth is, I never really set out to start a BBQ business. Holy Smokes was born out of two things I’m incredibly passionate about:

✝️ Jesus
🔥 BBQ

And what started as a passion turned into an amazing community that I’m incredibly thankful for.

Now I have an opportunity to take that passion and help a BBQ business whose mission I believe in. Luongo Barbecue is making some seriously good BBQ, and I’m excited to help them continue to grow and reach more people.

And yes — our BBQ is different.

My style leans more toward Carolina-style BBQ, while Luongo is bringing Texas-style BBQ to the table.

Different traditions.
Different techniques.
Different flavors.

Both are good. They’re just different.

So if you haven’t tried Luongo BBQ yet, I highly recommend you do! Go grab some brisket, ribs, pulled pork, or whatever they’re serving up and see for yourself.

I believe in their mission.
I believe in their BBQ.
And I’m excited to be a part of it.

Holy Smokes BBQ HBG isn’t going anywhere.
I’m just putting the passion to work in a different way.

Same passion. Same community. Bigger impact.

Fueled by Faith & Fire. 🔥✝️

Who knew my little backyard hobby would turn into my dream job?!

I prayed for a way and God brought Luongo BBQ | Traditional TX BBQ into my life. And now when I’m not working my full time job, I get to play with fire and brisket…

“Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.” Isaiah 43:19 ESV

🔥📖 THE TABLE IS SET — COME PULL UP A SEAT!

This Sunday, we’re gathering at Luongo BBQ for The Table Faith Community — a place to open God’s Word, ask honest questions, have real conversations, and grow together in faith.

You don’t have to have it all figured out. You don’t need to know all the answers. You just need to come as you are.
