We’ve been trying to find the right words, because honestly…thank you just doesn’t seem big enough.

Watching so many of you come out to celebrate with us was overwhelming in the best way. We even had friends and family come from out of state—some traveling more than 10 hours—just to be here. That kind of love and support means more than we could ever put into words.

The crazy part? We only took one picture.

Sweet T & Greens has always been more than just a restaurant to us. It’s our dream, and it’s only possible because of this incredible community. Thank you for believing in us, supporting us, and growing with us.

With love,
Geno & Erin ❤️

P.S. We haven’t forgotten about the raffles!!! The winners will be notified SOON.

Grand Opening Countdown: The Love Story ❤️

Geno picked up a part-time bartending job while he was playing football for the Harrisburg Stampede. That’s where they met.

And no…it was definitely NOT love at first sight.

At the time, Erin was his manager. Geno was known for showing up late, goofing off, and wearing wrinkled shirts. Erin was known for schedules, rules, and accountability. So yes, he was written up....more than once, and even sent home for those wrinkled shirts.

Needless to say, they didn’t exactly hit it off.

Then one morning, after all those late arrivals, Geno surprised Erin by showing up at 6:00 a.m. while checking in the truck. He had a flower in his hand and asked if she wanted to go out after his championship football game.

She said yes. And they've been inseparable ever since.

Well… “inseparable” doesn’t mean easy. The journey has been full of incredible highs, difficult lows, lessons, growth, and a whole lot of perseverance. Building a life together has never been a straight line, but they've never stopped choosing each other.

After seven years of dating, they blended their families into one and started building the life they'd always dreamed about.

That journey eventually became Sweet T & Greens. What started with a wrinkled shirt and some write-ups turned into a marriage, a family, and a restaurant built on love, faith, resilience, and a shared dream.❤️

Grand Opening Countdown: Meet Erin ❤️

Small-town Pennsylvania… and we mean small town. Dirt roads, forests, rivers, farmland, and everyone knew each other by name.

Erin grew up living a true farm-to-table lifestyle long before it became a trend. Her mom devoted her life to her family, church, and community as a stay-at-home mom, while her dad was a forester, farmer, and someone who still doesn’t know how to sit still. Together they raised pigs, grew the corn to feed them, and filled their summers with huge gardens that supplied fresh vegetables for family dinners and canning season.

Her grandparents owned a diner, and some of her earliest memories were spent there, watching the hustle of the kitchen and seeing how food brought people together. She quite literally grew up in the restaurant industry.

At just 12 years old, she got her first job scooping ice cream, and from that point on, restaurants became home. Whether serving guests, managing, or learning other corners of the business, she spent years building experience in the industry.

Today, Erin brings together everything she learned growing up—hard work, fresh ingredients, genuine hospitality, and the belief that sharing a meal can bring people together. Sweet T & Greens is more than a restaurant to her…it’s the culmination of a lifetime spent around food, family, and community

Grand Opening Countdown: Meet Geno ❤️🏈

Born and raised in Smithfield, Virginia “The Ham Capital of the World” (or as he’ll proudly tell you, “King of the HAM!”). Geno comes from humble beginnings….

His mom worked countless long hours to build a successful career in banking, teaching him the value of hard work and determination. His father, originally from New Orleans, was an engineer for the U.S. Navy, passing down some of the roots and traditions that still inspire some of our menu today.

Geno’s very first job was in the restaurant industry while balancing school and playing just about every sport imaginable. But football quickly became his greatest passion. His talent on the field led him to break records and earn a spot on the Liberty University football team.

Now… I’d love to tell you all the stories about the trouble he managed to get into in high school… but we’ll save those for another day. 😂 If you’re curious, just ask his mom.

After Liberty, Geno turned his passion into a professional career, playing in Montreal for the CFL and for arena football teams across the country before football eventually brought him to Harrisburg.

Little did he know, that journey would lead him to something even bigger than football… and eventually to Sweet T & Greens.

Stay tuned as we continue our story!!
