The Mountain Lake Club invites you to the 1st “Market Place at Lake Shannondale,” a community event hosted every Thursday evening from 5:30 until 8:30, starting August 15th.

This new weekly event has something for everyone. Shop our fresh fruits and vegetables at prices much lower than grocery stores. We use our restaurant bulk buying ability to buy large quantities at lower prices and then resell to our neighbors at lower prices than in the stores. Our goal is to improve access and reduce the cost of fresh fruits and vegetables for members of our community. The market also has crafters, bakers, artists, and gardener vendors for you to shop. Market Place will also have a hair stylist each week for haircuts. Our students needing a back to school haircut are the priority this Thursday night. Haircuts are $20. Student cuts on the 15th are $10. Cash only for the cost of cuts and tips.

Starting at 5:00PM on each Market Place at Lake Shannondale Thursdays, the beach/lake non-member fee for residents of Jefferson County is waived. We invite all our neighbors to enjoy the Market, beach volleyball, the pirate ship bounce house for our 4-13-year-old guests, yoga for our adult guests from 6:30 to 7:30 in the historic ruins, great food from the Lakeside Bar & Grill and our food-truck, Beach Bites, great music, and of course a beautiful sunset.

Please join us for a fun Thursday night at the Mountain Lake Club. See you on Thursday the 15th around 5PM.
