Red ribbon cherry float for breakfast. Maybe not the smartest diabetic decision, but wow, was it nostalgic! I can almost hear the twannngggg of a kickball hitting me in the face in my parent's back yard!🤣🤣 I also made more smoked hot sausage for special today, though the lighting wasn't great for the picture. Aaaannnddd, I have some of the praline candied bacon for ya today too. We're here til 9, drop by & git u some!!!

FINALLY!!!! It's time for our 2 year anniversary party. First and foremost I say thank you all so much for supporting our little bbq shop. The last 2 years have been interesting to say the least. I've experienced some of the highest highs, and the lowest lows in my life doing this, and wouldn't trade it for anything. I love what I do. I have an amazing staff that work hard every day to help make SideHack successful & we are where we are because of them. Sara, Abby, Izzy, Keeley & a handful of family & friends make this whole thing possible.
So, there are good times to be had this Saturday 8/29/26! We have The Hellbenders bringing a great rock & roll show from 5pm-8ish, and some new specials starting at 4pm:

Today is the 1 year anniversary of the premier of our almost famous brisket reuben! So, we brought it back for a limited time. Our tender brisket piled high with swiss, sauerkraut & thousand island dressing on thick sliced marble rye, then buttered & grilled to toasty brown perfection! Does anyone recognize these names as a group of friends? They came in for lunch today. All young people, I'd guess in their early 20's. I just wanted to take a moment to tell everyone about the public actions of these "kids". After I sent the last meal out for their group, I went to start my next check. Just then I hear a "SideHack!, SideHack!, SideHack!" chant as they left the lobby. It honestly made my day. These young people were so polite. All pleases & thank you's, and so excited to get some bbq. So if anyone knows them, I would like to thank them for brightening my day, and recognize their parents/guardians for raising some decent humans. It seems to be getting rare these days to come across young people who make it that obvious that they had parents that care & raised them right. So, good job parents! This world could use more folks like you & your spawn.
