We served our smoked chicken hackstacks at the Jackson Community Foundation Taste of The Town event along side a bunch of other great local businesses. It was highly successful, with over 300 people attending including our buddy John - On The Move. I can't tag him for some reason, but check out his page. He does a ton of really cool videos in our local area!

How was your holiday, Brian?
Well, riding in the parade was great, but the thunder & lightning storm hit when I was 3 minutes from home. I stopped under 79 on evergreen mill rd, so I'm still dry. I have doritos & sugar cookies in my saddlebag, so I won't starve. Don't wanna run the last mile to home until the lightning slows down. So here I sit! HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY EVERYBODY!!!!

This is the schedule of ceremonies for the replica Tomb of the Unknown Soldier that will be in zelie this weekend. I encourage all of you to brave the heat, stop by & see it. Shake a veteran's hand. Thank them for your freedom. I'm told there is a photo area with a chair & patriotic back drop for veterans to get a picture as well. With this in mind, I'd like to take the opportunity to thank all who served as well as their families who also sacrifice so much. Happy 250th birthday America!!!

SideHack BBQ will be closed Saturday & Sunday, the 4th & 5th of July so that our staff can enjoy their holiday and have a little extended break during the heat wave. We'll be here on Friday the third if you'd like to grab some meats, sides & ice cream to enjoy over your weekend, and we will re-open at 11am on wednesday the 8th! Be safe, have fun, enjoy your Independence Day & stay cool!

We have a brisket, bacon & cheddar jack grilled cheese on texas toast on special this week, and we're stocked up on Windy Ridge Dairy hard ice cream flavors, as well as our soft serve creations. Open 11-9 wednesday thru sunday. Call ahead, order online, cruise up to our drive thru window or come in & see us!

Happy Father's Day to all the dads out there, biological or not. A little extra happy to my dad Jim & my brother Kevin.
These beef ribs came out great! A 90lb case contained 36 portions, so they're hefty! Also made loaded potato casserole (taters, pepper jack, mild cheddar, sour cream & bacon topped with crispy fried onions) as a special side for the weekend.
