Hey Guys!
Just wanted to talk about recent news of issues with lettuce and produce. Some customers are stopping in, buisness as usual. We've gotten some calls about where we get our produce from.
We source our produce from a local vendor. We get fresh cases of romaine and we meticulously pull off all outer leaves, and double wash. This is a regular routine, not because of the news.
We DO NOT use bagged romaine.
I want to let you know, besides caring about our buisness, we care about our customers. We all personally eat the food here. I bring home food for my family from here. Salads for my parents are called "the babysitters tax"
I know there is so much out of our control when it comes to issues with international produce. I personally prep/cook all of our food here and that has a major effect on quality control. I only use ingredients that I would want to eat or have my family eat. I treat it the same for all of you!
I want everyone to feel comfortable with getting something fresh and healthy and if it helps knowing we are all keeping a close eye on everything, we will see you soon!
Im not a picture person, but here I am enjoying my little salad treat I get each day with a crisp coke zero 😋
