[15] When they had finished eating, Jesus said to Simon Peter, “Simon son of John, do you love me more than these?” “Yes, Lord,” he said, “you know that I love you.” Jesus said, “Feed my lambs.”

Peter denied Jesus three times at the trial, however after the Resurrection, Jesus gave him a second chance and asked him 3 times- Peter do you love Me?

We all fail, come up short and miss the mark. I'm thankful for a God who gives us second chances and will even help us back up!

Not much compares to coffee and cheesecake....

I've been slacking on getting decent pictures lately because life in general has been non-stop and we've been talking about how busy we have been (not saying coffee related, keep the orders coming!🤣) but the sermen today was on taking a reset... He is Micaiah son of Imlah.” “The king should not say such a thing,” Jehoshaphat replied.

Same as today, people don't want to hear a man of God prick their heart, because they don't want to stop sinning. We all have to make changes in Christ (note changes IN Christ, NOT make changes THEN come to Christ), there will be things to walk away from, and there will be pruning along the way. I think of it as taking care of a Live Oak here in the south. If you let it grow wild, it will get bushy, look rough and when hurricanes come- there will be too many branches catching wind and the roots won't be able to hold it. But if you prune it back, the main trunk will grow and strengthen, and the wind of the storm will blow right through it.

I've been listening to a bunch of podcasts on the Historical evidence of Jesus lately. Not for my own belief mostly, but for discussion points for when talking with non-believers. I linked the one I listened to this week in my bio(it's very long but with the listen over several days, in my opinion it's one of the best.Jerimiah Johnston breaks down evidence on the Shroud of Turin in an amazing way. One point that has been replaying in my head all week is the Flogging Jesus went through, we often think of the "40 stripes", it was actually around 700, with a cat of 9 tails, literally pulling skin off and exposing bones and organs, based off of blood patterns on the Shroud it also put out one of his eyes. WHY would he endure that for me???? What a precious Savior we serve!!!

Hopefully the trend keeps up, it's been a battle to keep our prices where they are! Now if the Iran ceasefire holds up and fuel prices come back down to keep shipping prices and everything else down that would be great. Mean tweets and world peace may be back??? Lol, we'll see. 🤣

This verse was taught last week, on the vulnerable, defenseless spot the Hebrews were put in by the Philistines by taking away their ability to create weapons, naturally that makes me think of the present time as well. While we should never seek violence, we are called to defend our family. There will always be evil in the world and it seeks nothing but to steal, kill and destroy.
Always carry, pray you never need it.

Wake up and smell the coffee! Picked up a new Nicaragua a while back and finally got around to roasting it. It has a bit of spice to it, but not wild like some coffees. Give me a holler if you want to try some!

Does your coffee rise when you brew it? If not, it's stale... This is called the "bloom" where the coffee grounds release CO2. It's also why super fresh coffee will often overflow in an autodrip coffee maker, to prevent this you can let it brew for about 30 seconds, open the top of the coffee maker or move it's shower head over, let the coffee bloom for 30 seconds and your good to go, not to mention your coffee will now taste even better.
