We’d love to invite you to participate in Open Mic Night at Pond Hill Farm this summer!

Hosted by Kirby Snively, Open Mic takes place Wednesdays from 5–8 PM on our Waterwheel Stage. It’s a fun, relaxed gathering of local musicians, songwriters, and performers, with each participant receiving about 15 minutes to showcase their talent.

This year, we’re adding a special group jam at the end of the evening, bringing all performers back on stage for a collaborative musical finale!
Open Mic is also a great opportunity for artists interested in performing at Pond Hill Farm in the future to introduce themselves and share their music with our guests. As a thank you, each participant receives a complimentary beverage of their choice.
We hope you’ll join us and help create & enjoy some local musical magic on the farm!

Originally from Auburn, Michigan and recently relocated to Northern Michigan, Amanda brings more than 12 years of performing experience, including time as a full-time musician in Nashville. With a mix of heartfelt originals and crowd-favorite covers spanning multiple genres, her soulful sound is the perfect soundtrack for a summer evening on the farm. Here’s an update on Farmer Jimmy’s pumpkin fields at Pond Hill Farm. After more than 30 years of growing pumpkins, he decided to try something completely different this season with no-till farming. Change can be exciting, but it can also be nerve-racking when you’re stepping away from methods you know so well.

The fields are coming along, but there are definitely a few concerns along the way. Farming has always been a mix of optimism, patience, and faith in the process. Sometimes the biggest rewards come from taking calculated risks and being willing to learn something new.

We’ll keep you updated as the season progresses. For now, we’re hoping Mother Nature cooperates and that all the hard work pays off with a beautiful pumpkin harvest this fall. 🎃🌱
