The restaurant offers an extensive wine and beer selection. Oak Oven is a locally owned restaurant with a network of family-farmers who grow fruits, vegetables and raise chickens, pigs and cattle. We have our own private land where we grow many different fruits, vegetables and fresh herbs. All breads and fresh pastas are made daily, from scratch in the restaurant; all breads are baked fresh each

morning in our wood-burning oven. Various charcuterie including pancetta and salsiccia are made from scratch and cured in-house. We make fresh mozzarella and ricotta cheese from scratch using local Louisiana milk. We even culture our own housemade vinegar! We care about the soil our vegetables are grown in; we shun the use of pesticides and petro-chemical fertilizers; we care about what our chickens and cattle are fed and how they are raised; and we know this attention to detail makes a big difference in the nutritional value and taste of our food.

After operating since 2014, we have made the difficult decision to close our doors. Our last day will be on April 18th.

From the beginning, our dream was to create a memorable dining experience—family-owned, built on family recipes—and, with the help of our incredible staff, we were able to bring that vision to life each and every day.

Unfortunately, the financial reality has become untenable, a challenge many restaurants continue to face. To our fellow businesses navigating the same struggles, we are truly rooting for you.

To our regulars: we are nothing without you. It has been an honor to be part of your lives—a place to gather with family and friends, celebrate birthdays and anniversaries, and share stories and laughter.

To our staff: you have been at the heart of every decision, especially this one. You are family to us, and we love you deeply. We are here to support you in any way we can.
