It is with heavy hearts that we remember and pay tribute to Becky Schneider, a beloved member of our team who passed away last night. For many decades, she was not just a waitress—she was the embodiment of excellence and grace in everything she did. Her work ethic, attention to detail, and warmth made her a cornerstone of our restaurant, and she set the standard for what it means to truly serve others.
Becky was more than just an employee. She became a mentor to new staff, a source of guidance, and a role model for all of us. Her dedication to providing an exceptional experience for each and every guest, her ability to anticipate needs with a smile, and her passion for hospitality were unparalleled. She had a way of making everyone feel seen and valued, and her presence elevated the atmosphere of the entire restaurant.
One of Becky’s most remarkable gifts was her uncanny ability to remember faces. No matter how much time had passed, she could recall a guest’s name, their favorite dish, and the stories they’d shared with her. It wasn’t uncommon for people to return to our restaurant years later, seeking her out with a smile, just to experience the warmth and connection that they knew she would provide. Her genuine care for people made them feel like they were family, and they returned time and time again just to be welcomed by her.
Through her, we learned what it means to be not just servers, but true professionals in the art of hospitality. She demonstrated how to manage every detail—how to listen, how to anticipate, how to make every guest feel welcome, and most of all, how to do all of this with genuine kindness and a smile.
Her legacy will forever be a part of our restaurant. The standard she set, the lessons she taught, and the love she showed will continue to guide us every day as we work in her honor. While we mourn her loss, we are also incredibly grateful for the time we spent with her and the positive impact she made on all of us.
Becky’s spirit will live on in every plate served, every smile shared, and every guest who feels cared for in our restaurant.
Rest in peace, Becky. You will never be forgotten.
