I am blown away by your love and kind words over the past few days. Honestly, I’ve been blown away by your love and support since day 1-November 1, 2014. A little over 6 and a half years later I am stepping away from the pizza business. It was an amazing run and I cannot thank you all enough. I have had you, the greatest customers, showing up every day to support my small business.
I started working at Alloway Pizza and Sub at 15 years old, having no idea how to make a sandwich or a pizza. I fell in love with the job and have never known another job since. Thank you Tina for the opportunity as a kid, then as your manager at Tina Marie’s, to gain knowledge and work ethic that I was able to carry for all these years.
My parents showed me all the support I could ever need to start this journey. I wish so badly my mom could have seen just one day of that business. But, I strongly believe she would be so happy for me knowing how the story unfolded. I hope and pray that I made her proud.
To all my employees, thank you all so much for your hard work and dedication. You guys showed up day in and day out to help grow this business. My business simply could not exist without you, I would not have been able to run the business alone. If any of you ever need a reference or anything going forward I will always be here for you. Thank you so much!
To my customers, (or should I say friends?) thank you for your constant support over the years. I have seen nothing but love from you all and I could never show enough gratitude for what you have done for me. I was afraid that I was going to have to close my doors when COVID started…nope, it only got better. You guys kept showing up and I never heard a complaint about extremely long wait times. I appreciate each and every one of those orders! More importantly, I value your friendship. I will miss the relationships I’ve made and the conversations we’ve had more than anything. Thank you for allowing me to be not only the pizza man, but your friend! ❤️
My wife, Ashley, I love you! You have been my rock from the beginning. We were married less than 3 months when we bought the business and I remember you saying, “I love watching your dreams come true!” Well, YOU are my dream and I am ready to live it everyday, spending way more time with you! Thank you for your support, love, and understanding.
I leave this business a better man. I started it thinking I could handle anything and everything that came my way. I was wrong, I needed a lot of support and surrounded myself with nothing but the best. Owning a small business in this small town has been an absolute blessing! I don’t know what else to say, but thank you for always being there and always showing up. I will never forget what you have done for me, my wife, and our family. I love you all so much!!!!
