Over a year ago we had a painting stolen from our restaurant. The painting was utterly invaluable as it was the last painting done by Betty, Chip's mother. She left it to his daughter, Brooke, and it had been on display in the restaurant for many years before it was stolen. Yesterday Robert Cenedella, an artist from New York who now lives locally, came and presented us with a beautiful rendition of the original piece. Thank you to Bob for doing this sublime recreation and thank you to Michelle who contacted Bob to do this! The painting will be up in the restaurant to anyone who wants to come and see what an amazing job he did! The blurry picture was the original from which he used to make his recreation. The others are his on display now.
