❤️ TODAY WE SAY GOODBYE TO ONE OF OUR OWN ❤️
Today is going to be a hard one for the Britt’s family.
We’ll be saying goodbye to our friend, our regular, and most importantly, our family — Mark Bisbee.
Britt’s will be closed today while our staff attends Mark’s services and has the chance to say goodbye to a man who meant so much to all of us.
Mark’s visiting hours are 10 AM–12 PM at Remick & Gendron Funeral Home in Hampton, followed by his service.
After the services, we’ll be gathering back at Britt’s for Mark’s Celebration of Life. ❤️
And that’s exactly what we want it to be — a celebration. Come tell the stories. Share the memories. Have some laughs. Raise a glass. Sit in his seat. And help us celebrate a man who left one hell of a mark on this little place and on all of us.
If you knew Mark, you’re welcome. We’d love to have you here with us.
Today isn’t about Britt’s being closed.
Today is about Mark.
One last goodbye, followed by a whole lot of stories about a man we’ll never forget.

❤️ MARK WILL ALWAYS HAVE A SEAT AT BRITT'S ❤️
There are customers. There are regulars. And then there are the people who simply become family.
Mark Bisbee was family.
If you spent any amount of time at Britt's, chances are you knew Mark. You knew where he liked to sit, you probably shared a laugh or a story with him, and you definitely knew when he was in the room.
Mark wasn't just someone who walked through our doors — he was part of this place. He supported Britt's from the beginning, looked out for our staff, kept Britt company through countless late-night closes, showed up with coffee on the long days, and was always there when you needed him.
Last night was our first trivia without him, and it just wasn't the same. His seat was empty, and his absence was felt by all of us.
This loss has hit the Britt's family incredibly hard.
Mark's services will be held Thursday, August 20th at Remick & Gendron Funeral Home in Hampton.
Visiting hours will be 10 AM–12 PM, followed by his service.
Britt's will be closed during the day Thursday so our staff can attend Mark's services and say goodbye to someone who meant so much to us.
Afterward, we will open our doors for a Celebration of Life at Britt's — because we can't think of a better place to gather for a man who spent so much time here and became such a big part of our family.
If you knew Mark, loved Mark, drank with Mark, laughed with Mark, or simply had the pleasure of crossing paths with him, we hope you'll join us to raise a glass, share some stories and celebrate one hell of a man.
Mark, your seat may be empty, but it will always be yours.
Forever part of the Britt's family. ❤️

🙏 THE BRITT’S FAMILY NEEDS YOUR PRAYERS AGAIN 🙏
I honestly can’t believe I’m writing another post like this.
Yesterday, one of our longtime customers and, more importantly, a very dear friend, Mark Bisbee, was involved in a horrific motorcycle accident. He is currently at Maine Medical Center with incredibly serious injuries.
I just left there after seeing him, and my heart is absolutely broken.
If you’ve spent enough time at Britt’s, you know our regulars aren’t just customers — they become friends, and they become family. Mark is absolutely part of ours.
Right now, he needs every prayer, positive thought, and ounce of strength we can send his way.
Please pray hard for Mark. He really needs them. 🙏❤️

🚨 QUICK UPDATE — CLOSED TODAY 🚨
Change of plans for today!
We originally planned to open at 2, but the few “quick fixes” we needed to take care of in the kitchen are turning into a little more than we anticipated.
Rather than rush through things just to get the doors open, we’re going to take the rest of today to get everything taken care of properly.
Britt’s will remain CLOSED today and we’ll be back at it tomorrow! 🍕🍻
