Sadly, due to increased rent and failed negotiations, we are forced to close our doors. We are starting our sale this week of 50% off entire store. Hours will be Wednesday thru sat 11-6. Sun 11-3 . Last date day of operation will be Feb 25. We appreciate the opportunity to have served the community for 25 years! I love the small, but growing town of Hampstead. The tree lighting at Christmas, Hampstead Day, sponsoring the little league baseball, neighboring businesses, all will remain close to my heart. I started with the tearoom in Hampstead then 9-11. I enjoyed having my family help me. I overcame 9-11 and the economy scare many times and was persistent in keeping my business open. The loss of three close family members in 2019, then tragically my business to a fire upstairs in building. Of course 2020 followed with Covid. Thank you for all the years of support and kindness. Time for a new adventure!

Today we mourn the loss of one of our former customers who visited Linens and Lace Tea Room for 20 years. Martha Hyson was a name in the Hampstead community
That brought joy and friendship, a memory I hold dear when Linens and Lace Tearoom was operating. Martha would come and sit for hours with her friends and have tea and enjoy our hats. But most of all she enjoyed watching my sister and I with our antics it made her smile and happy and warmed my heart. She was a wonderful customer and a wonderful gracious, classy woman. I lift my cup of tea today in your memory! She will be missed. Prayers for the family.
