While everyone else was soaking up the sun and celebrating at the beach, we were doing what we love most—building our annual SASS Grazing Table: Independence Day Edition for one of our favorite families. ❤️🤍💙
Every Fourth of July, we get to spend part of our holiday with them, and it’s something we genuinely look forward to. They’re the kind of customers every small business dreams of having—the ones who become friends, welcome us with open arms, and make us feel like we’re part of the celebration.
This year’s display may be one of our favorites yet, but the best part wasn’t the food… it was seeing familiar faces, sharing laughs, and hearing the excitement and anticipation for our display this year. (And once again, they booked us again before we even left!)
Moments like these remind us that we’re not just catering events—we’re building relationships that last for years. That’s something we’ll never take for granted.

Five events. Three days. Over 3,000 handmade bites. All in just 72 hours.

When people see the finished displays, they see the beautiful food. What they don’t always see are the weeks of planning, ordering, prepping, packing, loading, unloading, setting up, breaking down, cleaning, and doing it all over again x 5.
They don’t see the countless trips up and down stairs carrying heavy catering bags, boxes, wood boards, flowers and décor, serving pieces, and food. They don’t see the early mornings, late nights, or the logistics it takes to have multiple events come together seamlessly.

This weekend was physically exhausting, but everything came together exactly as planned. Every display was beautiful. Every event went off smoothly. Most importantly, every single client was thrilled. Seeing the smiles, hearing the gasps when guests walked in, and receiving the hugs, compliments, and messages afterward made every sore muscle and every late night completely worth it.
There is no better feeling than hearing, “This is even more beautiful than I imagined.”

Now, while we’re catching our breath (and maybe drinking a gallon of coffee ☕️), we’re right back at it planning and prepping upcoming 4th of July events. The calendar never really slows down around here, and honestly… we wouldn’t have it any other way.

A huge thank you to Jason Hess to get this done with me and for giving it everything you had and being as particular as me with how things are supposed to look! Thank you to each of our five amazing clients for trusting SASS with your celebrations. We never take that trust for granted.
