Thanks to Hairbymolly for a cut/color/style and a small shopping spree yesterday, half of you didn’t recognize me at first today 🤷🏻‍♀️

Y’all were sure to recognize my cheesecakes though! You told all your friends, cousins, parents, 3rd grade teachers and their cousin’s kid’s best friends about it and I can guarantee they all showed up today 😂.

Tomorrow is our market from 8-12, a Gumbo Cook-Off Fundraiser just next to us at the pavilion and the Harmony Skate Jam across the street at Dreamland Skate Park. Oh…and Homecoming for SLU!

Throwback to that time I made my second tiered cheesecake and absolutely killed it!!

I learned a lot from this and have done many other tiered cakes, wedding and grooms cakes, and dessert tables since.

🍓 A little life update while I make a strawberry swirl cheesecake.

TLDR:
Elbow is mostly healed, though dull ache is constantly present. Yay, tennis elbow.

My son’s seizures have returned on a more frequent basis and the type has changed (now having grand mal type seizures). He’s having a 24hr EEG visit this week along with some other medication changes.

Orders will not be impacted due to the hospital admission.

Strawberry cheesecake is such a hit that I have 3 special orders for it this week alone.

Also, the NOHS market is cancelled!! I can only hope the Hammond Farmers Market is still being held, but in the meantime: PLEASE snag some slices from home or NOHS delivery.

The hurricane will likely not affect Hammond, but it’s certainly too close for comfort; even the slightest shift could bring tremendous impacts to wherever it decides to land. If that were to be us, I’d lose a lot of product despite having a small generator. (Quite frankly-I don’t want to think/worry about it! 😳)
