We are officially one week away from seeing downtown Hammond flooded with some of the best Halloween costumes around for Downtown Trick-or-Treat! ๐Ÿ‘ป Let's review some important event details and get ahold of this year's map, shall we?

๐ŸŽƒ ๐ƒ๐š๐ญ๐ž & ๐“๐ข๐ฆ๐ž: Wednesday, October 25th 2023 from 5:30-7:00 pm
The weather for next week is projected to be agreeable with no chance of rain - we will continue to maintain a close eye on it and give updates as needed.

๐ŸŽƒ ๐‹๐จ๐œ๐š๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง: Check in at Louisiana Children's Discovery Center to collect a map of participating businesses and a free limited supply of Shop Small Bags for candy! Then, grab your magic carpet or broomstick & fly to visit all of our incredible participating downtown businesses!

๐ŸŽƒ ๐€๐ญ๐ญ๐ซ๐š๐œ๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง๐ฌ: In addition to collecting candy downtown with the kiddos, you can also hangout at the Louisiana Children's Discovery Center! Enjoy the following attractions located within their parking lot: Music, Bubble Machine, Hammond Fire Truck, Photo Back Drop by The Creative Studio, Free Shop Small Bags (while supplies last), The Lucky Kettle, Hurd's Stirs Lemonade, royally_roasted_nuts, Sweet Tooth Treats, Candace's Cake Balls

๐ŸŽƒ ๐’๐ฉ๐จ๐จ๐ค๐ฒ ๐’๐ฉ๐ž๐œ๐ข๐š๐ฅ๐ฌ: Enjoy specials and treats from the following businesses (more details on the map): Tommy's on Thomas, Bayou Boudin & Lucky Dog, Mariners of Hammond, Realty Executives Florida Parishes , & the Tangi Library Hammond Branch.

๐ŸŽƒ ๐’๐š๐Ÿ๐ž๐ญ๐ฒ: Hammond Police Department - Louisiana Officers will be present and stationed at downtown intersections for the duration of the event.

๐ŸŽƒ ๐๐š๐ซ๐ค๐ข๐ง๐ /๐‚๐ฅ๐จ๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ซ๐ž๐ฌ: There will be no parking closures or street closures for this event.

We are excited to have thirty-one of our downtown businesses participating in this event! Our businesses will be handing out free candy, ๐ฐ๐ก๐ข๐ฅ๐ž ๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ฉ๐ฉ๐ฅ๐ข๐ž๐ฌ ๐ฅ๐š๐ฌ๐ญ. We can't wait to see you all for this year's Trick-or-Treat!
