INTRODUCING 'THE SPEAKEASY"
Our September Burger of the Month is called The Speakeasy.
And we decided if we're going to call a burger The Speakeasy, simply putting it on the menu would be missing the point.
So we're doing things a little differently this month.
During Prohibition, a speakeasy wasn't a place you found because of a big sign out front. You had to know it existed. And sometimes, you had to know the right words to get through the door.
That's exactly how The Speakeasy is going to work.
You won't find it on our menu.
There won't be a sign for it at the truck.
We won't have it listed at the ordering window.
And we're not going to ask if you'd like to try the monthly special.
As far as anyone looking at our menu is concerned...
The Speakeasy doesn't exist.
But you know better.
The Speakeasy hits almost every flavor profile: Smoky from the Gouda, acidity from the pickles, sweetness of bourbon sauce AND Yum Yum Sauce.
Now for the important part.
Just like getting into a speakeasy, you need the password.
When you get to the ordering window, don't ask for The Speakeasy.
Just tell us:
“Two Timin' Tony sent us.” (Bonus points if you do it in a New York accent ;))
We'll know exactly what you mean.
No sign.
No menu listing.
Just a password and one seriously good secret burger: The Speakeasy.
Available throughout September to those who know how to order it.
And if someone standing behind you in line asks what you just ordered...
