Last weekend we were blessed to be in beautiful Swannanoa, NC at the KCBS Battle of the Blue Ridge held at the KOA Asheville East supporting 1 Patriot Project.

A little wet at times but an overall successful weekend! We were a crowd pleaser serving up some delicious BBQ, enhanced and learned additional competition skills, enjoyed spending time with the local fire department, and even brought back 5th place dessert with an izzled and drizzled smoked chocolate chip cookie!

KCBS Battle of the Blue Ridge… Here We Come!

Smokin’ Good Eats is headed to the Battle of the Blue Ridge Aug 7-8—where we’ll be competing against some of the best pitmasters around while serving up the barbecue that has everyone talking!

If you’re making it to the event, make sure you stop by and grab a meal featuring our signature favorites:

Authentic Maryland-Style Pit Beef
Slow-smoked Pulled Pork
Tender Ribs
Creamy Mac & Cheese
Our famous Cracked Out Green Beans

And don’t forget to top it all off with our fan-favorite Bourbon Maple, Lumbajack BBQ Sauce or our signature Creamy Horseradish Sauce!

We believe great barbecue starts with quality meats, premium seasonings, and a passion for doing things the right way. Whether you’re there to cheer on the competition or just looking for an incredible meal, we’d love to see you.

Come hungry, say hello, and help us bring a little Maryland flavor to the Blue Ridge!

We’ll see you at the Battle of the Blue Ridge!

Everyone asks what makes Smokin’ Good Eats different.

Yes, we proudly use Spiceology seasonings—but great BBQ isn’t about one bottle of seasoning. It’s about starting with premium-quality meats, knowing how to trim them, layering flavors, managing a live fire, and putting in the hours it takes to do it right.

The seasoning is just one ingredient.
The passion, experience, and attention to detail are what set us apart.

We refuse to settle for cheap cuts or shortcuts. Every brisket, every rack of ribs, every pork butt, and every slice of our Maryland-style pit beef is prepared with one goal:

Serve BBQ we’d be proud to put in front of our own family.

And our standards don’t stop with the meat.

From our creamy mac & cheese to our cracked green beans, cowboy beans, sauces, and every side that leaves our trailer, we put the same passion, care, and attention to detail into every item on the menu. We believe the sides should be just as memorable as the BBQ.

Others can try to recreate what we do.
We’ll keep raising the bar.
