Some people drive 1,400 miles and make their very first stop a little cafe on Washington Street. 🤎

Our friends came all the way from Houston, Texas, and before they went anywhere else in the DMV, they came to sit with us at Royal. Full cups, full hearts, and yes, the flower wall did its thing. ☕️🌸

A quick note to our 96 Royal family.

It has been incredibly hot inside 96 these past few weeks. Our AC broke down, and while the parts are on the way, the heat became too much for our team & guests to keep going safely. So we made the call to close today while it gets fixed.

To anyone who came by this morning and found our doors closed, we are truly sorry. That is not the welcome we ever want to give you, and we appreciate your patience and understanding more than you know.

And to everyone who has kept showing up day in and day out through this heat, thank you. You are the reason we do this. We will be back tomorrow, and we will be stronger than ever.
