We are honored to have b**r at the annual Germanfest event. Last night we tapped the ceremonial first wooden keg filled with Rudolf's Schwarzbier and served 150 people!

The b**r we served was inspired by Rudolf Wolter, a notable member of Guttenberg. Moving as a young man from Bonn Germany, and settling in Guttenberg, he formed the original brewery in Guttenberg. Wolter Bottling Works, a brewery founded in 1874.

5 Generations later his Great Great Great Grandson, Jon Klaes and Kathryn would go on to found and operate what you all know as the Guttenberg Brewing Company.

We tapped a black l***r made in inspiration of Rudolf, and traditional German Brewing techniques using only 4 ingredients. Hops, Roasted Barley, Water, and Yeast.

Stop by Germanfest to try this one, we must admit, it's a keeper!
