I just had to say this , so people can understand and stop looking from the outside in!!!!
To those who don't understand the restaurant business but always have opinions about menu prices, this message is for you.

Running a restaurant isn't just about cooking great food. Every menu price has to cover food costs, labor, rent, utilities, insurance, supplies, taxes, and everything else it takes to keep the doors open. In this industry, a healthy food cost is typically around 28–30%. If we don't price our food accordingly, we won't be in business for long.

At JR Smokehouse BBQ, we take pride in serving quality food made with quality ingredients, and our prices reflect what it takes to continue doing that.

Our prices are what they are. They are fair, they are based on the cost of doing business, and they are non-negotiable.

We truly appreciate everyone who supports small businesses and understands the value behind every meal we serve. Thank you for your continued support!

🚨 JR Smokehouse BBQ Reopens This Week! 🚨

We're excited to be back and look forward to serving everyone!

We'll be open Thursday and Friday, and our Fish Fry will be available on Friday only.

Important Update:
Due to the ongoing foodborne illness concerns involving lettuce, we've made the decision to temporarily remove all lettuce from our menu out of an abundance of caution. As a result, our Chicken Wraps will not be available until it's safe to serve lettuce again. The safety of our customers is our top priority.

Looking ahead, we'll post our hours and schedule for next week sometime between Saturday and Sunday. The menu below will become our official everyday menu, so you can count on these items being available each day we're open.

First, we want to thank every single one of you for your continued support of Junior Smokehouse BBQ. We truly appreciate our partnership with the Legion and every customer who continues to support our business.

As many of you know, we've been taking some time to evaluate what works best for our business. Because of our current location and inconsistent foot traffic, we're making a few adjustments to our schedule so we can continue serving you while building for the future.

Just a friendly reminder: Most small businesses are run by one person wearing many hats. We do the cooking, cleaning, shopping, prep work, bookkeeping, marketing, customer service, and everything in between.

Sometimes we have to close for personal reasons, to rest, or simply to regroup. When that happens, it's easy for people to talk or wonder why we're not open. The truth is, running a small business is exhausting, especially when business is slow.

What many people don't see are the long hours, the financial stress, and the sacrifices made behind the scenes. A small business can't survive on good intentions alone—it takes consistent community support to keep the doors open.

JR Smokehouse BBQ is making a few changes to better serve our customers and focus on bringing you the best food possible.
🔥 Starting in July, our new regular hours will be:
Monday: 2:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Tuesday: 2:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Thursday: 2:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Friday: 2:00 PM – 8:00 PM
🚫 Closed Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
