WHEWWWWW… what an opening weekend for Catfish Cuevas! 🐟❤️

To say we are grateful would be an understatement. We want to thank every single person who showed up and supported us during our opening weekend. Whether you came through our doors, shared our posts, told a friend, offered an encouraging word, or simply prayed for us ..THANK YOU.

To our staff — we could not have done this without you! Opening a new restaurant comes with long hours, learning curves, busy kitchens, packed dining rooms, and plenty of moments where you just have to figure it out as you go. 😂 We are incredibly thankful for each of you for working so hard and helping make this opening possible.

Most importantly, we thank the Lord. 🙏🏼
This opportunity is a blessing that we do not take for granted. We prayed over this business, these doors, our employees, and the people who would walk through them and this weekend was a beautiful reminder of just how faithful God is.

And speaking of beautiful reminders… ❤️

Our very first table on opening day was this lovely couple, who allowed us to capture a truly special moment. 📸🥹 There was something so fitting about beginning this new chapter with a moment filled with love, and we are so thankful they allowed us to share it.

We learned a lot this first weekend, we grew a lot, and we know there will always be ways we can improve .. but one thing is certain:

We are blessed beyond measure to be here, and we are just getting started.

🚨🚨SATURDAY UPDATE🚨🚨

Unfortunately, we will not be able to offer TO-GO ORDERS again tonight, Saturday, August 22.

As we navigate our opening weekend, we ask that you continue to extend us a little grace and patience while our new staff learns the kitchen and the Cuevas way.

Our goal is to have everything running FULL FORCE by next weekend.

We are incredibly thankful for the support, patience, and understanding you’ve shown us during these first few days. We’re learning, adjusting, and getting better with every shift!

🎉🐟 TODAY IS THE DAY — CATFISH CUEVAS IS OPENING! 🐟🎉

We can’t even begin to tell you how excited we are to finally open our doors today! We are so ready to meet all of our new customers, welcome familiar faces, and bring our amazing new staff into the Catfish Cuevas family!

As we head into our very first weekend, we do ask for a little patience and grace. We are stepping into new territory, working with a brand new team, and teaching everyone the Cuevas way! There may be a few bumps along the way, but we promise we’ll be working hard, learning, adjusting, and doing everything we can to give you the food and service you deserve.

Most of all, we are just SO EXCITED TO SERVE YOU!

The support, encouragement, shares, comments, and excitement you all have shown us leading up to this day have meant more than you know. We truly cannot thank our community enough.
