Well, this is pretty cool.

Pelican Scoops was voted Sunny 105.7's 2026 People's Choice Award Winner for Favorite Ice Cream/Dessert, and we're honestly blown away.

The thing that makes this award special is that most of our business comes from people talking about us. A local telling a tourist, "You've got to try Pelican Scoops." A condo owner sending guests our way. A family bringing their friends when they're in town.

That kind of support means everything to us, and we're incredibly grateful for it.

A big thank you to Shelia Moore, Bailey Plash, and Jasmine Mitchell in Gulf Shores, and Austyn Manasco in Fort Morgan, for taking such great care of our guests every day. They represent Pelican Scoops better than we ever could and are a huge part of why people keep coming back.

We'd also like to thank Fort Morgan Marina for being such a great partner and home to our Fort Morgan location over the years.

Most of all, thank you to everyone who voted, visited, recommended us, and supported us along the way.

We know there are a lot of places to get dessert around here, and we're honored every time you choose us.

Thank you.

Another hole that was dug and not filled in by dark. This will cause numerous issues for individuals walking the beach after dark, as well as hinder our response to emergencies. Please fill the holes in.

We’re OPEN Again, Gulf Shores 🍦

After 2 months of closure due to road construction, Pelican Scoops Ice Cream – Gulf Shores is officially REOPENING.

The construction project in Waterway Village is still underway, and access may look a little different—but we are open and ready to serve you.

Stop in and cool off with:
• Our popular cereal milkshakes
• Thick, hand-crafted classic milkshakes
• Ice-cold snowcones

Local businesses don’t survive road closures without community support, and we genuinely appreciate everyone who has waited, checked in, and continued to support us.

📍 Pelican Scoops – Gulf Shores
🚧 Open despite construction
🥤 Cereal shakes, milkshakes & snowcones

Tag someone who owes you a milkshake and come see us.
