A few seasonal updates have landed on the menu:

Roasted cauliflower with whipped tahini, sumac-pickled shallots + crispy chickpeas.

Local halibut crudo with summer stone fruit, shaved fennel, preserved lemon vinaigrette + dried black olive.

Halibut with Thai green curry, blistered tomatoes, fingerlings, seasonal vegetables + herb trinity.

And the Summer Nudes — spinach ricotta gnudi with blistered tomato, corn, pesto + brown butter crumble.

Summer is still very much on the menu at boon eat + drink.

Some wines just seem made for this time of year.

The 2025 Aperture Chenin Blanc is bright, fresh, and layered with citrus, white peach, and a subtle richness that keeps you coming back for another sip. It has the kind of balance that makes it just as enjoyable on its own as it is alongside seafood, vegetables, or whatever you’ve ordered for the table.

We’re happy to be pouring this one at Boon.

Extremely fresh and very delicious. Our local halibut crudo with summer stone fruit, shaved fennel, preserved lemon vinaigrette, and dried black olive, with the Mexican street corn salad making a cameo in the background.

We suggest pairing it with the 2025 Trousseau Gris from Jolie-Laide—bright, floral, and made for summer.

We’re excited to share that Chef Crista is heading to Carmel Valley Ranch for a very special evening.

On Friday, August 7, Crista will join James Beard Award winner and Top Chef champion Stephanie Izard, alongside Food Network stars Damaris Phillips and Aarti Sequeira, for First Friday: Chef Stephanie & Friends.

Guests will enjoy signature bites from each chef, live music, a grazing table, and an evening celebrating great food and community—all while supporting the incredible work of World Central Kitchen.
