Come and join us this sunday the 18th from 2 to 4 at Las Mujeres Park. We will be having Hot Dogs, aguas frescas, free hair cuts, and best costume competition for the kids. Come and meet the candidates, ask questions, and spend an afternoon at the park. Prices and goodie bags will be given out while suppies last. Football is back. We will be having a watch party this thursday for the 49ers vs rams at the pizza place starting at 4:30.. With that being said, we will be having a dine in only promotion for that night. 1 large 1 topping pizza, 1 full order of wings, and 4 sodas for 39.99 plus tax!!! It started as my parents taking the chance and doing this back in 1995. My mother being the back bone of this business. Many years my father didnt take a day off at at all. I was only 8 years old but would come all the time and try help my pops. Worked here over 25 years. The summer time I had off was always here with my pops helping him prep and get things ready. Helping him and eventually it was time. I took over. Regardless its a partnership with my pops. Yes times we argue and disagree, but we still have been able to make this business run. Family business is not easy folks. From dominoes coming into town and they closed down. Covid happening and not knowing what was next. We NEVER gave up. We appreciate you guys for the love and support. Because of your guys support is why we can help and give back to our community and youth. While God blesses us we will continue to support our community. Yes there are times we work weekends and miss birthday parties and family events. Sometimes I miss my kids games. But my kids know why. And our family knows why. We love you guys and thank you guys. Guada is our hometown. We will never leave. Everyone that supports us outside of guadalupe.... Simply THANK YOU!!! With our Guadalupe district students returning tomorrow to school, I felt today was the best time to announce that I'll be running for the district school board #3 position. It is very dear to my heart and for who know me know that I've always been vocal about our kids and what they deserve.THEY DESERVE MORE!!! District #3 is for the voters that live on the 3rd page of this post that live in the green area. Please help and support as I begin my campaign and let's get our students the education, happiness, and safety they deserve. I am only one person, but with our community residents we can make a difference. Please feel free to come and pay me a visit at the shop, Reach out, and let me know what you want, concerns, and what we need for our students. Being from Guadalupe all my life, former student, current parent of students, community volunteer, business sponsor, and proud basketball coach to our youth I look forward to this opportunity to be elected your district school board member. Thank you to my family, friends, and community members in supporting me in doing this. I look forward to the election and will work hard for you all. God bless!!! It pains me to write about this. Getting the call this week that we couldn't get enough sign ups to have ANY of the 4 divisions to represent our community of Guadalupe is very disappointing. I waited couple days hoping it was not true and shed tears realizing this is actually happening. Bulldog football/cheer will be missed this coming season. We as parents in the Guadalupe Community need to step up and do a better job. Volunteer, coach, spread the word, sign our kids up ahead of time, not wait last minute. There are kids that do want to play football and cheer. The positive impact bulldog football brings in our youth and the commitment the kids give to bulldog football says it all. There is no quit on our kids and they give their 💯 out there. We need to make sure as parents and community members we give the same 💯 commitment to them. Our children are our future and we need to make sure this doesnt happen again. Thank you to Rick, Grace, Christ, Christina, Austin, Lisa, Sarah, Yesenia, the cheer coaches, football coaches, and everyone that tried to continue to keep the program going. Being a parent is the greatest job in the world. It is also the hardest, most stressful, and tiring job in the world. One day your kids are babies and just want their parents. Another day your kids are grown and your no longer cool enough for them. You look forward to just have that one moment with your child where they hug you and tell you they love you just like when they where little. Once that moment happens they dont realize how happy that makes you. Sometimes kids give you an attitude or just roll their eyes, when all your doing is being a parent. I realize what my parents would tell me before when I wa young now means. Sometimes I catch myself telling my kids the same comments my parents would tell me when I was little and then I just start laughing because I have become that parent. No matter what we are blessed to have our kids. Even if they dont want to be around you, keep going. They will give in. Sometimes they dont understand why we are how we are. But we know we are doing our best and preparing them for the future. Happy father's day to all the real fathers out there and the woman that fill 2 shoes. For everyone that has their fathers. Enjoy them every day not just father's day.

Having an 8th grader and Senior this graduation year is bittersweet. Raul III being the first Rodriguez to carry the last name for the next generation and my first born to graduate high school is a blessing. Natalia going into high school makes us excited for her high school adventure. Unfortunately this week as our community know parents lost their child this past weekend in a tragic car accident. It hit alot of people locally. Expecially being graduation week. Enjoy your loved ones and tell your kids you love them. Hug and kiss them. Give them advice and let them know the knowledge that we know that they could use right now. Congratulations to all the graduates. Raul I am excited for what your future holds as you continue your education and plan on majoring on Journalism. You will do great. Natalia get ready mija.
