Well… it’s official. 🤍
Sweet Wildflour Bakery is moving to Nebraska.
This is one of those announcements that feels equal parts exciting, terrifying, bittersweet, and a little surreal. Georgia has been home to us, and Sweet Wildflour has grown into something I never could have imagined when I started it.
But the Army has made the decision for our family, and our next chapter is taking us to Nebraska.
That means our time serving the Georgia community is coming to an end — and while I’m absolutely heartbroken to leave so many amazing customers, friends, and small businesses behind, I’m also incredibly excited to see what comes next for our family and for Sweet Wildflour.
As we prepare for this move, I’ve made the difficult decision to stop accepting custom orders altogether. Our final custom orders will be in the coming months, and once those are finished, I’ll be closing the custom-order side of Sweet Wildflour.
This wasn’t an easy decision. Sweet Wildflour has been such a huge part of my life, and getting to create cookies and desserts for your birthdays, weddings, baby showers, graduations, holidays, promotions, classroom celebrations, and all of the little moments in between has meant more to me than I could ever put into a post.
I’m so incredibly grateful for every person who has trusted me with something important to them. Every order, every referral, every market, every kind message, every repeat customer — you helped make Sweet Wildflour what it is.
I’ll be sharing more details over the next few weeks about our final Georgia orders, events, and what the future of Sweet Wildflour will look like in Nebraska.
Georgia, you’ve been very good to us. 🤍
And Nebraska… we’ll see you soon. 🌾
