Please excuse our tardiness in sharing, because this story is something to celebrate!! The Grimes Storehouse Food Pantry sends our heartfelt thanks to our partners across the Grimes community for a HUGELY successful School Supply Drive, which collected 1,888 pounds of supplies this year!!
Partners in this effort included:
• Grimes Public Library
• Grimes Lutheran Church of Hope
• Prairie Creek Church
• St. Peter Lutheran Church
• Harvest Bible Chapel
• Summit Creek Church
This effort provided personalized supply packs and new backpacks to 235 students!! This marked a significant increase over last year's 175 students ensuring local children are prepared for the school year.
We're so grateful for the outpouring of blessings the Grimes community continues to share with our families! Thank you to everyone who contributed to helping kids start off their school year with everything they need.
