What an incredible day at the fairgrounds! Our Porky Parm Gnocchi was named a Top 3 Best New Food at the 2026 Iowa State Fair! 🏆🐷 Iowa State Fair

It was an honor to cook, serve, and celebrate alongside all of this year's Top 11 Best New Food finalists. Congratulations to every stand that brought their creativity, hard work, and passion to the competition. It's truly what makes the Iowa State Fair food scene so special.

A huge thank you to the Iowa State Fair staff for putting on another fantastic event, to the judges for taking the time to try each new food item, and to everyone who stopped by our booth to cheer us on.

We're incredibly grateful to have our Porky Parm Gnocchi recognized as one of this year's Top 3 Best New Foods, and we can't wait to serve it to all of you during the Iowa State Fair.

Introducing the Porky Parm Gnocchi 🐷🇺🇸 A gluten-free potato gnocchi and Graziano sausage tossed in our house-made AE cream parmesan sauce, finished with a pesto drizzle, shaved parmesan, fresh parsley, and topped with an American flag and a souvenir Piggy Pal.

We're incredibly grateful for another opportunity to showcase our food at the Iowa State Fair, and we can't wait for all of you to try our newest creation!

You can find us at the Corndog Kickoff benefiting the Iowa State Fair Blue Ribbon Foundation for a preview of everything that makes fair season unforgettable — great food, live entertainment, and that unmistakable Fair spirit.

Our Steak Tip Gnocchi features house-made Alfredo, braised beef in our "special sauce", shaved Parmesan, and potato gnocchi.

This dish first made its debut at last year's Iowa State Fair, and landed a spot on our restaurant menu shortly after.

Another fair season (and a whole lineup of new fair favorites) will be here before we know it... 👀🎡 But until then, this one is waiting for you at D|G! 🍽️
