Dear Meatballers,

This is the toughest post I’ve ever had to make professionally.

It is with heavy hearts that we share the news that Ammirato’s Meatball Cafe will be closing its doors permanently on Friday, August 14th at 7pm.

Due to a recent health diagnosis, I have made the extremely difficult decision to step away and focus on my well-being. Simply said, I need to redirect all of my stubbornness towards my health.

Three and a half years ago we took a chance on this place and made it something special. We never expected to build such amazing relationships and have so many wonderful memories. All of you helped make our little cafe what it is and we will always cherish that.

Serving you all has been an incredible joy, and I am so grateful for the warmth, laughter, and shared conversations over the years. In many ways, you have become our extended family.

Every story has an ending and this one is bittersweet for us, but we’ll always be proud of what we were able to accomplish.

Please stop by today or next week and order from a streamlined menu to help us unload our product. You know one of my pet peeves is throwing away perfectly good food! But also, come say farewell….. at least for now. Who knows what the future will bring?
