Is it too early to talk about Thanksgiving 🦃

NOPE... It's my favorite holiday, go figure because it's all about the food and being thankful 😉

And the star of the show is Turkey...
Triple C has the BEST. Remember to be thankful for our farmers and small businesses and get that bird from someone you trust. It'll be the best Thanksgiving ever 💚

Just a little weekend update 💚

The Porch Pantry will be closed this weekend while I focus on a very special catering. Of course, every event I’m trusted with means so much to me, but this one happens to hold an extra-special place in my heart. ☺️💚

I’ll still be keeping my friends stocked with fresh Black Bird goodies at Cherry Lane, Sippin Serenity, Triple C Angus & Carmelo’s, so you can still grab your favorites!

And for those of you who have been following along and sending love for my mom, I had originally planned to close this weekend because of her surgery, but it has been moved to later this month. Thank you so much for all of the messages, prayers, love and positive vibes you’ve sent her way. They truly mean more than you know. 💚

I also have so many fun fall & Halloween things planned for the next few weeks, and I seriously cannot wait to share them with all of you. 🍎🎃🍂

Thank you, as always, for continuing to support this little business of mine. See you very soon! 💚

Well… you guys did it. 🥹💚
The Pantry will be CLOSED today because I am officially SOLD OUT!

I truly can’t thank everyone enough who came out and supported Black Bird this weekend... especially after the faire had to be cancelled. The way this community showed up not only for me, but for so many of the other small businesses and vendors who were supposed to be there, was seriously amazing to see. 💚

Every purchase, share, comment, recommendation and kind word means more to a small business than you probably realize. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for continuing to support all of us crazy people out here chasing our little dreams. 😂💚

I’m currently finishing up one last order of fresh bakes that will be heading over to Sippin Serenity today, so if you missed me this weekend, you’ll still have a chance to grab a little something sweet over there. ☕️🧁

Seriously… THANK YOU.
You guys are the absolute best.

WOW 🤯 I’m honestly blown away by everyone who came by and supported my little business today. 💚

Thank you from the bottom of my heart. You guys are truly amazing, and I can’t tell you how much your support means to me. 💚💚💚💚

I’ll be back open tomorrow for anyone who’s still interested! I’ll post in the morning with what I have available and keep everyone updated on hours, and of course, if the weather makes me close up a little early.

As of now, I’m shooting for 10am–6pm. Hopefully I can get everything stocked even earlier… we’ll see if my coffee maker can keep up with me. 😆☕️

Seriously, thank you again. I love you all. 💚

THANK YOU so much to everyone who has already stopped by the Pantry today! 🥹💚 Your support truly means the world to me.

And sorry for the late menu post... I’m still over here putting the finishing touches on everything! 😂

I had big plans for today… Apple C***r Donut Cakes, Apple Fritter Cake, big pans of Pumpkin Coffee Cake, Pumpkin Roll by request and more. But after this morning last-minute “okay, we’re moving the faire to the porch!” decision, it was a bit of a mad dash to get the Pantry stocked. 😂

I may not have gotten everything made that I originally planned for the festival, but there are still LOTS of goodies out there!

🍂 Pumpkin Crème Brûlée Cakes- you guys LOVE these
☕ NEW Vanilla Chai Crème Brûlée Cookies- infused with vanilla chai tea, topped with my crème brûlée frosting and torched sugar. Seriously… have one with coffee or tea in the morning and you’ll be skipping to a different tune 😂
🥜 Peanut Butter Reese’s Bars
🍎 Apple Hand Pies made with reduced apple c***r
🍠And of course everyone's favorite Sticky Bun Sweet Potato Praline Breads

And for my gluten-friendly peeps
🍪 Chocolate Chip Cookies
🎃 Pumpkin Streusel Bread
Just my usual reminder: Black Bird Local is not a certified gluten-free bakery, but I do my very best to take precautions when making gluten-friendly items. 💚

The Pantry is OPEN TODAY until 7PM!

Those beautiful mums are from our good friend's The Roorks farm right up the road 💚

If you guys keep me busy, I’ll keep baking and adding goodies as the weekend goes on. 😎

AND... I just got a last-minute order for our friends at Sippin Serenity that I’ll be working on too.

Looks like it’s going to be one busy, rainy baking weekend over here at Black Bird Local. Hopefully I'll have time to cut the grass too, hahahaha

I spoke too soon 🤣 Unfortunately due to the storm the festival has been cancelled 😞

On the BRIGHT Side...

The Porch Pantry is OPEN TODAY • 12:30–7 PM 💚

I’ve been baking all week for the Faire, so the porch will be extra stocked with plenty of fresh fall goodies. 🍎🍪🎃

Might be a good day to stock up on something sweet before we’re all cooped up inside listening to the rain this weekend. ☔️😉

I’m hoping to keep the Pantry open Saturday & Sunday too, weather permitting... if the wind and rain get too crazy for the porch, I’ll post an update here.

And if you’re out and about, fresh bakes are heading to Triple C Angus, LLC today too!

Apparently Mother Nature cancelled the Faire…
but she didn’t cancel dessert. 😂💚
