It’s hard to believe it’s already been almost a month since these photos were taken by Aden Albert
We’ve had a lot of time to reflect, and while closing The People’s Tap was bittersweet, one thing has become incredibly clear: the community we built didn’t disappear. If anything, it’s thriving.
It has been so special running into you all out in the wild, grabbing drinks together, seeing familiar faces at events, and watching friendships continue long after last call. This community is just... amazing.
If you haven’t heard, many of our favorite events are still going strong! Philosophy Night, Book Clubs, Stitch & Sip, Skate & Sip, and more have all found new homes. If you’d like to keep up with those events (and the occasional impromptu meetup), join our Facebook group: The People’s People.
We truly can’t say it enough: thank you. Thank you for every pint, every conversation, every laugh, every event, and every friendship. Knowing these connections continue means more to us than we can put into words.

P.S. We know a few of you have been wondering how we’re doing. The honest answer? Really well. We’re spending our newfound free time simply enjoying the things we’ve always loved to do. The transition wasn’t easy and there were definitely some hard days. But we’ve made it to the other side, and we’re genuinely happy, and grateful to be surrounded by the people we love. The world feels wide open, and that’s a pretty wonderful place to be.
