Pit Prayer 🙏🔥

Father God, If we've gotten busy, distracted, or simply drifted away from You, draw us back. Help us spend time with You, open Your Word, talk to You, and remember that we don't have to have everything figured out before we come to You. We just need to come. In Jesus Name, Amen.

Please follow The Local Letter - Hunt County Stories & Small Business Highlights ❤️

She shares some amazing stories about our locally owned and operated businesses right here in Hunt County.

Learn more about the businesses you already know and love, discover some you may not even know exist, meet the families and people behind them, and explore all that Hunt County has to offer!

Shop local. Support local. Get to know the people behind our local businesses. ❤️

Today I'm proud to introduce the businesses that believed in The Local Letter from the very beginning.

These Founding Community Partners chose to invest in something bigger than advertising. They chose to support a project dedicated to telling the stories of Hunt County's locally owned businesses and the people behind them.

One thing that's important to me is that Community Partnerships never determine who gets featured. Every story is researched, written, and chosen because it's worth sharing. That editorial independence will always remain at the heart of The Local Letter.

These businesses simply help make those stories possible.

If you have the opportunity, I hope you'll support them just as they've chosen to support local storytelling and community connections throughout Hunt County.

Thank you to each of our Founding Community Partners for believing in this mission from day one.

Pit Prayer 🙏🔥

Father God, Thank You for the much needed rain You have blessed so many of us with. Our ground, pastures, ponds, animals, and farmers needed it so badly. At the same time, we pray for everyone dealing with flooding and damage from these storms. Keep them safe, comfort those who have lost so much, and help their communities recover. Thank You, Jesus, for every blessing, and help us remember those who are hurting. In Jesus Name, Amen.

Lord, Whatever this week brings, help us take it one day at a time. Don't let us borrow trouble from tomorrow or carry things from yesterday that we can't change. Give us what we need for today. In Jesus Name, Amen.
