Iโve been quiet as of late.
Thanks to a few of you for checking in on me.
Iโve had lots of calls and messages regarding if my dining room was open yet.
Especially now that restrictions have been lifted. To answer honestly,
yes and no..
I am not opening for dine in service just yet..
why you ask?
Sky high product prices.
Meats, veggies, chicken and even paper products are all still very high
gas prices,
electric prices,
You name it.
Then add in the current staffing issues plaguing the entire country and now the sudden end to restrictions.. ๐คฆ๐ปโโ๏ธ
If not taken seriously these next few months could be more harmful to businesses then the last 15 months combined...
Iโve worked my business alone the last year doing everything from front to back and because of this kept my overhead very low.
Iโve kept the heat low and the ac high as possible to save money.
Iโve made trips for product to save in costs and minimum purchase quantities.
And still abided by all the rules and restrictions to keep everyone safe.
And here I am.
My plan is to continue carry out for the summer. I have a target date of early fall for a grand opening event . I also have a commitment from a friend to work with me in the kitchen this fall as well.
My staff will be in place, product pricing is forecasted to drop, people will be settled in and back into a groove in the industry as well.
Iโve put a lot of blood, sweat and tears into this rebrand of the Green Harp and I refuse to rush, or risk anything but perfection when I open the doors. So for now Iโll carry on as I have. Take out only.
Although , I have been asked about private catering here.
That I can accommodate. From bridal showers, meetings, ufc events, or whatever special catering you might need... get ahold of me! I can cater any type of menu to suit your needs and an awesome dining room to host it in !!
Also, with summer events, restaurants back open, graduations, fairs and other events, my business after 3pm has dropped dramatically.
My main rush and peak hours are 11-3 for the area lunch crowd.
So starting today my take out hours will be Tuesday through Friday
11-3.
Carry out only.
Please understand I look forward to opening and sharing this new place with you, we made it this far, whatโs a couple more months!

By the way, to whoever inquired about me possibly selling the business..
No thank you.
After all this bulls**t Iโve survived, I could never just sell and walk away.
Iโm just getting started.
