🌾 Meet Marsh Hen Mill, a small-batch mill based on Edisto Island, South Carolina!
What began as Greg Johnsman’s childhood interest in milling grew into a business dedicated to preserving Southern food traditions. Since 2007, Marsh Hen Mill has been bringing heirloom grains to the table using time-honored milling techniques that prioritize flavor and quality.
From stone-ground grits and cornmeal to rice and other pantry staples, their products celebrate the rich culinary heritage of the Lowcountry. By working with heirloom grains and traditional methods, they’re helping keep these food traditions alive for generations to come.
