Our culinary team has been hard at work preparing the next round of our legendary, seasonal Southern Tomato Pie—and the first slices are hitting plates right now!

Remember, this is a true Carolina labor of love that takes a full three days to scratch-prep. We slice, season, and dry the local tomatoes overnight , layer them into our signature buttery cobbler dough , and top it with a rich, caramelized three-cheese aioli.

Because we do everything by hand in small batches, our quantities for the weekend are limited. Once the weekend batches are gone, the kitchen is completely out until next week!

Each year when the weather gets warmer, Kevin Feeny starts to hear from customers hungry for his restaurant’s signature dish.

We talked with Feeny about the in 2025.

“We start getting calls in April, asking when the tomato pies will be out,” says the co-owner and managing partner of Kitchen Sync, which opened its doors in 2016 on Laurens Road in Greenville. “There’s definitely a clamor in the run-up to June, and some disappointment after the season. It is probably the most talked-about dish that we have.”
