We know we have awesome customers all over! Earlier today around 3pm our puppy (about 9 months old) got out of our house and we haven’t been able to find him. We are in Sandhill in South shore. He’s a black lab mix and has on a teal collar. Mostly black with a tiny bit of white on his chest. Answers to Kong. We haven’t been able to find him. My kids, his pup brother and I are missing him.

Hot topic! If a mexican restaurant has Taco Bell style hard shell tacos, they are ripping you off! If they have a fryer then they have the ability to make you authentic “tacos dorados” not pre-packaged shells!

Who’s ready for a Chuys comeback!? I miss getting behind the grill and seeing all of you everyday, ordering food. All the feedback, I cooked what you all wanted me to cook! There was a couple things I wouldn’t budge on, only because I kept my food authentic! But you all still came out and supported!

I made food that I ate growing up, and food that I fed my family! I never made anything I wouldn’t feed my family, so you know it was always authentic! It still amazes me that people still have no idea that “QUESO” isn’t a Mexican side dish. 😂. It’s CHEESE DIP, don’t get me wrong, it’s good! But just because something is smothered in it, doesn’t make it authentic. 🤷🏽‍♂️😂

Anyways! Trying to plan a pop up shop soon, hopefully it pans out! I Will keep you all posted! I miss everyone and soon you will be able to eat that delicious BIRRIA you all made so popular, again❤️

On a hot summer day you want something cold and fresh for dinner! Make some Mexican Crab Salad or as we call it “ensalada de Jaiba”

Perfect for this hot sunny day! Fresh ingredients and no turning on the stove!

Ingredients:

2lbs imitation crab meat 🦀
Half of a red onion, finely chopped 🧅
2 Roma tomatoes, small dice 🍅
Finely chopped cilantro 🌿
As much avocado 🥑 as you want! I added 4 to the 2lbs of meat.
1/4 cup of lemon juice 🍋
Salt to taste! 🧂

Enjoy with saltine crackers or tostadas!

(Take it up a notch. I serve myself some in a bowl and add a tablespoon of McCormick mayo with lime, not regular mayo, and several thousand drops of Valentina hot sauce!) thank me later! 😉

Chicken enchilada is what’s for dinner! They were sooo good! 😂😂😂😂

Enchiladas Suizas! Have you ever tried them? They are drowned in a creamy Tomatillo and poblano base sauce with melted cheese on top! I highly recommend them! I make the best ones of course 😊
