The 5th Grade Drink Competition has officially come to an end! Congratulations to Mrs. Hunt's class for creating our winning drink, Toasted Marshmallow! Their class was treated to an ice cream sundae bar today to celebrate their sweet success. 🍦

The other four classes also did an incredible job, showing creativity, teamwork, and entrepreneurial thinking throughout the project. We made sure to celebrate them as well with ice cream sandwiches for all of their hard work.

This project was about so much more than just creating drinks. Students learned about costs, pricing, profit, and working together to bring an idea to life. Most importantly, they had fun while learning something new — and that sounds like everybody wins to me! ❤️

Their drinks will remain on the menu, but now reflect our normal menu prices.

Thank you for showing up and participating! The students looked forward to seeing their daily sales each morning.

Happening soon! (Probably Tuesday)

We got to teach 5th graders how to calculate product cost and factor an appropriate selling price.

After their lesson, each class worked together to design a drink, calculate the cost, and choose a selling price.

Once all the drinks are turned in, we will offer them in the shop. After all sales are totaled on May 23, the class with the most profit will earn an ice cream party at school.

We are so excited to share our small business knowledge with the next generation.

This morning was something special. ☕️

We had 23 students gather at the shop before school, choosing to start their day grounded in faith. Seeing so many young people show up early, encourage one another, and prioritize what matters most was truly a blessing.

Moments like this are why we do what we do. Grateful for this community and the light these students bring each day. 💛
