It started with a coffee shop.

When we opened The Branch, we didn’t know how many stories would walk through those doors.

A conversation over coffee turned into someone sharing what they were really going through. A regular became a friend. A simple question, “How are you?”, sometimes opened the door to a much bigger conversation.

Over the years, we’ve seen firsthand that the needs in our community are bigger than a cup of coffee can solve.

So we started asking, What could happen if we had more space to help?

That question is what led us to the Community Care Center.

We’re taking the space above The Branch and turning it into something more..space for counseling, education, partner organizations, and practical support for people who need somewhere to turn.

It started at The Branch.
And now, it’s branching out.🤎

Sometimes you just need a little push… ☕🤎

And by “little,” we apparently mean a full-on shove into The Branch.

Don’t worry..we promise we do not push our customers. 😂

We’re just here to provide the coffee!

FIRST RESPONDERS: THIS ONE’S FOR YOU. 🚒🚑🚔🤎

Did you know The Branch offers 10% off every day to first responders? It’s our little way of saying thanks for all you do for our community.

With 10-4 Day coming up on October 4, we wanted to do a little extra. Since we aren’t open tomorrow, we’re celebrating a day early on October 3! 📻

🎉 OCTOBER 3 ONLY: First responders get 20% off!

Just show valid proof of first responder status to receive the special discount.

To every first responder who runs toward the hard moments, answers the call, and keeps showing up for our community, thank you for the courage, strength, and heart you bring to your service every single day. 🤎

We’re grateful for the people who have the courage to serve when their community needs them most. 🫶

We were honored to support our friends at Community Church for their 2026 Oil Change! ❤️☕️

☕🍩 Good things happen when our community comes together!
A huge thank you to Cornerstone Banker and The Branch in Greensburg for helping make Community Church’s Oil Change 2026 a little sweeter — and a whole lot more caffeinated!
🍩 Cornerstone Bakery helped provide doughnuts for breakfast with a combination of free and discounted treats for our volunteers.
☕ The Branch kept everyone fueled by providing coffee for the entire day!
These may seem like simple things, but taking care of the people who are serving our community makes a BIG difference. We’re so grateful for both of you and the way you continue to invest in our community!

Yesterday, we told you something exciting was coming. Today, we’re inviting you to help make it happen! ❤️

We’re launching a $50,000 campaign to build a Community Care Center at The Branch. And if we reach our goal, the Indiana Housing and Community Development Authority (IHCDA) will contribute another $50,000 through Indiana’s CreatINg Places program!

Here’s why we’re excited!

Every day at The Branch, people gather over coffee, build friendships, and find a place to belong. Upstairs, 3,360 square feet of unused space holds the potential to take that connection further.

Imagine a neighbor walking upstairs to meet with a counselor. Volunteers gathering for training before heading out to serve. Local nonprofits working side by side, connecting people with resources and finding ways to meet needs together.

That’s the future we’re building, and we need your help to open the doors.

The Community Care Center will provide a large classroom space for community education opportunities, counseling offices, meeting rooms, and collaborative workspace for organizations serving Decatur County. Your gift will help turn empty space into a place where people find care, support, and opportunities to grow.

Our community has the opportunity to turn $50,000 into $100,000 toward this project. Let’s make it happen together!

Fall Festival photo dump… only a little late. 😂

But these were too good to leave sitting in the camera roll, so here’s a little throwback to a fun weekend at The Branch. ☕🤎

Good people, good coffee, a parade, and a whole lot of Fall Festival fun.

Anyway… happy belated Fall Festival. 🍁

We often hear the Christian phrase, “God will never give you more than you can handle.” But Scripture never promises that suffering will always stay within the limits of our own strength.

Paul actually describes experiencing pressure that was “far beyond our ability to endure” so that he would learn to rely not on himself, but on God.

Trauma can affect the brain, body, emotions, relationships, memories, and even the way we understand ourselves and our sense of safety. Understanding those effects does not mean believing we are permanently broken. It means learning to care for the whole person while recognizing our deep need for God.

And while God does not cause the abuse, loss, violence, or suffering that creates trauma, He can redeem what has been broken and bring beauty from the ashes.

In our newest blog post, we explore:
• What trauma is and what it is not
• How trauma affects the brain and whole person
• How trauma can look different for adults and children
• The Christian misconception that we should always be able to “handle” what happens to us
• What Scripture teaches us about suffering and dependence on God
• When it may be time to seek counseling

Trauma does not have the final word.
