This October, the Piedmont Authority for Regional Transportation (PART) proudly recognizes **Breast Cancer Awareness Month** and stands with everyone whose life has been touched by breast cancer.

Breast cancer awareness is about more than wearing pink. It’s about supporting those currently facing the fight, celebrating the strength and courage of survivors, remembering those we have lost, and encouraging awareness and early detection.

At PART, connecting people and communities is at the heart of what we do. This month, we’re proud to come together as an organization and as a community to help raise awareness and show our support.

🚐 KERNERSVILLE MICROTRANSIT PILOT IS NOW UNDERWAY!

On October 5, PART launched the Kernersville Microtransit Pilot, providing a new on-demand transportation option within select areas of Kernersville.

The pilot is designed to expand access and provide connections to jobs, healthcare, housing, and local and regional transportation—giving riders in the pilot service area more flexibility to get where they need to go.

🚍 PUBLIC NOTICE | PART EXPRESS ROUTE 74

Changes are coming to PART Express Route 74 beginning November 2, 2026.

The service enhancements include new stops, relocated stops, schedule changes, and an expanded service area.

A few stops will no longer be served by PART Express and will continue to be served by Winston-Salem Transit Authority (WSTA).

Route 74 connects riders between High Point and Winston-Salem, with connections to High Point Transit System and WSTA.

📅 Changes take effect November 2, 2026.
