We’re opening up our tables to something new and exciting… 🤭
We’re thrilled to announce our collaboration with our friends at The Mingle Studio for beginner mahjong lessons hosted at Cozy Brew! 🀄️
MAHJONG 101 - $75 mahjong
Everyone starts somewhere. Here, it’s a seat at the table at Cozy Brew. This is an unhurried introduction to American mahjong: the tiles, the rules, and the rhythm of the game, from your very first hand to a full round played start to finish. No experience or supplies needed. We provide everything. Come solo or bring a friend, and settle in to learn at your own pace.
MAHJONG 102 - $75
You know the tiles. Now it’s time to play them with a plan. This session moves past the fundamentals and into strategy: choosing a line, pivoting mid-game, making the most of the Charleston, and playing real defense. You’ll leave with a sharper read on the table and the confidence to act on it. Best for players who have taken Mahjong 101 or can already play a full game of American mahjong.
MAHJONG 101 & 102 PACKAGE - $140
Start with the basics, then return the following week to build your skills with continued instruction and guided play.
Your seat includes:
- 2.5 hours of instruction and play
- Prizes for the winners
- A take-home printable to keep the momentum going
- Charcuterie, fresh fruit and veggies
