Ruan Thai is true traditional Thai Food for non-traditional people. It's the restaurant in the little brown house on the strip—the quaint one right past the BP on University Boulevard. Alp is the owner of Ruan Thai, and she can cook a mean green and red curry. Her yellow curry is so special that it used to be served only on Thursdays, but it is actually available all week now. Chef selection sushi is served all week as well. Entrees range from $6-$13. Choose Thai dishes with your choice of meat (chicken, pork, beef, or shrimp) or tofu. Then choose your level of spiciness--mild, medium, hot or (for the daring) Thai hot. Come for international brews, and try a Thai ice coffee to keep you chugging through the late night. Ruan Thai even has a "Special Thai Coffee" on its drink list. Need a quick bite? Place an order to go: (205) 391-9973. Lunch Hours:
