We’re still here!!! 🤣🤣

Just over here in the 2F5L kitchen making 300+ cupcakes, baking cakes, getting Cookie Club goodies ready to roll out…AND apparently coming up with NEW gourmet cookie flavors in our spare time! 🤪

Because clearly we don’t have enough going on around here! 🤣

Introducing our latest little experiment…

🍫🍪 GERMAN CHOCOLATE STUFFED GOURMET COOKIE!

A rich, chocolatey cookie STUFFED with that ooey, gooey coconut pecan goodness we all know and love from German Chocolate cake! 🤤

And Y’ALLLLLL…LOOK AT THAT MIDDLE!!! 😍

We probably should be doing about 47 other things right now…but here we are, stuffing cookies! 🤣

Now the real question is…does this one deserve a spot on the 2F5L menu?! 👀

Y’all…we are officially OUTGROWING our mixer!!! 🤣🥴🍪

And while I love my girl, she just ain’t big enough anymore! We’re finding ourselves making 2 and 3 batches of cookie dough just to get everything done!

Our Taste & See Cookie Club keeps growing every single month, and we are SOOO incredibly thankful! 🥹❤️ But with that growth comes a whole lot more work…and a desperate need for a mixer with a MUCH larger capacity! 🤣

Soooo today, instead of making batch after batch, I remembered something my mama taught me when I was little…

“The best tool you’ll ever have in your kitchen is your own two hands!”

And baby, we put them things to WORK today!!! 🤣💪🏼🍪

Sometimes you just gotta roll up your sleeves, get your hands dirty, and get it DONE!

And while we’re praying for a bigger mixer, we’re thanking the Lord for the growth that made us need one in the first place! 🥹🙌🏼

What a blessing to have outgrown something we once prayed would grow! ❤️

Is THIS what the Lord meant when He said, “My cup runneth over”? 🤣🙌🏼

Because apparently, my loaf pan has been claiming that promise too! 🍌🍞

And before anybody comes for my baking sheet…IT’S CLEAN! 🤣 It’s just very well loved! My grandma would say, “That’s a GOOD biscuit pan right there!” 😂

And NO…this did NOT go to a customer! 🤣 It was supposed to, but I made another one, and my kids happily took care of this one for breakfast! 😂

From butter, sugar, and egg yolks…to that rich, gooey coconut pecan frosting…there’s just something about a homemade German Chocolate Cake! 🤤

It was a BUSY weekend over here at 2F5L…and ya girl has NOT been the best at remembering to take pictures. 🤦🏼‍♀️🤣 Apparently I bake first and remember I own a phone later.

But here’s a little peek at what we’ve been up to…

🎀 3 dozen decorated sugar cookies for the sweetest Little Miss ONE-derful birthday!

🤎 1 dozen gingerbread men sugar cookies — individually packaged with the CUTEST “The Sweetest Gift” tags. 🥹

🍰 150 MINI BUNDT CAKES. FIVE different flavors.
And somehow…after making ONE HUNDRED AND FIFTY of them…this is the only picture I managed to take. 🤣🤦🏼‍♀️

🧁 9 DOZEN cupcakes for Dallas & Callie’s birthday party. And remember when I asked y’all if I should keep them simple or do several flavors?? Wellllll…I asked for advice and then did what I wanted anyway. 🤣 We went with FOUR flavors…and I took exactly ZERO pictures. 😂

And because apparently the 2 Fish part of Two Fish & Five Loaves needed its moment too…yesterday we threw the kiddos’ birthday party complete with ribs, chicken, sausage dogs, hot dogs, red hots, baked beans, a whole lemonade stand and ALLLLL the things. 😮‍💨

THEN the kiddos had their very first friends sleepover…at OUR house. 😂

And somehow, by the grace of the good Lord, everybody was alive, fed, dressed AND we made it to church this morning in one piece. 🙌🏼🤣

The baker is tired. The mama is tired. The house is questionable. But my heart is FULL. 🥹💛

Busy, blessed, and probably running on buttercream and Jesus at this point. 😂
