There’s never a dull moment being a small business owner and grape farmer. 🍇 Last night’s storm left an impression, and the Marquette grapes literally bowed down to its fury.

We’re still a few weeks away from harvest, but the vines seem to be intact, the grapes are still hanging, and this one looks fixable. ⛏

With a pile of U-posts & a long day of work, these guys will be reaching for the sky again. That’s farming. You admire it one day, it humbles you the next, and then you get back to work!

Bittersweet, that’s the way love is made, to be. What a summer it’s been (so far). 💕

Old friends on the stage. New bands experiencing the vineyard for the first time. We got a bit of it all this year. You danced in the rain, sang your hearts out, you brought your people. You filled this place, and more than a few souls along the way.

And somehow, there are only two shows left.

So let’s send Wine Down 2026 off the way it deserves. One big, loud, slightly unruly hug.

You may want to tie your shoes for this one. We have some newbies coming to LSV on August 13th. Coasties, not the West, but from that place far out east. Hailing from Jersey, these gents have the kavorka. 🌭🐊🦚

Meet Dogs In A Pile - a band that jams, rips, and keeps a song moving like Grandma circling the table with another spoonful of pasta before you’ve even finished your first bite. 🍝🤌

Where they go from here is anybody’s guess, but best catch them now before they get further down shore. 🌊

It’s always a strange and exciting time of year when veraison begins. Those bright green berries start slipping into purple, sugar begins building in the fruit and suddenly harvest is no longer some distant idea on the calendar. It’s coming. 🍇

Time to dust off the press, tune the pumps, check the equipment and maybe give those grape stomping feet a proper wash. 👣☺️

Winemaking season is creeping up fast, and soon the whole place will be humming.

Stay tuned. We’ll be looking for harvest volunteers in the coming weeks. For now, let the countdown begin. 🍷
