Oh golly, we love this time of year. You know, the fall days are great and all, but the kitchen testing the fall menu is really where it's at. Somehow we convinced the Chefs that feeding us lunch is essential to our social media efforts. 😆 🤷‍♀️

Over the next couple of weeks, we’ll be trying out some new ideas, and we’d love for you to come taste them with us! Up this week we have:

• The Goat Cheese Croquettes 🍋
Lemon herb goat cheese with romesco sauce.

• Bolognese & Burrata 🍅
Beef bolognese, penne, burrata, and garlic herb breadcrumbs.

• Spicy Vodka Neapolitan 🍕
Mozzarella, sausage, vodka sauce, and fresh garden peppers.

We came together with a harvest moon on the horizon and picked over 18,000 # of Frontenac in record timing! 🍇 A huge thank you to everyone that took part - we couldn't do it without you!

September’s got one more weekend in it. We’ll be spending it picking grapes, listening to music, and pouring w**e. Come join us! 🍂

Frontenac Noir harvest is always one of our favorite days at LedgeStone. Dew on the grass, a little chill in the air, and familiar faces that have been picking grapes with us for years.

This Saturday 9/26 at 9 AM, join us to bring in the last grapes of the season. No experience needed. We’ll show you what to do, and you’ll get to be part of a bottle’s story long before the cork comes out. Grab a friend, the more, the merrier! ☺️

After the picking, we’ll share a meal and enjoy the satisfaction of a day well spent. Stick around for music starting at 3 PM. A little work, new friends, and a good way to spend a fall day.

Every now and again, we get a moment to step back and see how far the people around us have come. Last night’s chef’s dinner gave us all the feels.

While we worked in the cellar getting w**es into fermentation, we got to watch our team work with confidence and care.

Amy, who’s been with us since the beginning, guided the evening alongside Danny. Over the past year, he’s led two kitchens and built a team worth celebrating. With sous chef Danielle helping bring our garden’s full potential to the plate, the kitchen crew was firing together, serving five courses.

Quietly keeping things moving was Sam, with her calm presence and driving ambition. There’s something special about this crew and the possibilities they see in our vineyard garden.

Growth gets quieter as people find their footing. It shows up in the details, the confidence and the consistency. Those little steps add up, and we see them.

The sunset did a pretty decent job, too.

Mother Nature has made the call; time to harvest! 😊

It's always an exciting day when the grapes declare they're ready for w**emaking. In just five months, these vines go from bud break to beautiful grapes. The true patience starts when we wait 24-36 months while it ages in barrel.

Each year we welcome volunteers to join us in the fun and we'd love to have you!

There’s never a dull moment being a small business owner and grape farmer. 🍇 Last night’s storm left an impression, and the Marquette grapes literally bowed down to its fury.

We’re still a few weeks away from harvest, but the vines seem to be intact, the grapes are still hanging, and this one looks fixable. ⛏

With a pile of U-posts & a long day of work, these guys will be reaching for the sky again. That’s farming. You admire it one day, it humbles you the next, and then you get back to work!
