Today we celebrate the blessings of freedom, the courage of those who fought for our independence, and the men and women who have served—and continue to serve—our country.

Today I’m especially remembering my dad, along with all those who have worn our nation’s uniform. Thank you for your service, sacrifice, and the freedoms we enjoy every day.

We hope your day is filled with family, friends, laughter, and gratitude.

A little piece of Greenfield history is sitting on our shelf 💚

We’re so excited to have the Bon’s Bakehouse Cookbook in the shop — a collection of tried-and-true recipes from Bon’s Bakehouse, owned by my great-aunt Bonnie Stalder and her husband Jim.

If you were around Greenfield between 1995-2008, you probably remember Bon’s well. It was a favorite lunch spot for so many people, and Bonnie, Jim, and my aunt Dianna were a huge part of what made it so special — from the cooking and baking to the catering and everything in between. Over the years, they sold 2,000 cookbooks filled with recipes from the bakehouse — which says a whole lot about how loved that place was. 💚

We only have a few copies in the shop right now… but yes, I know where to get more 😉 It means a lot to be able to carry a little piece of Bonnie & Jim’s legacy here at Horner’s.

If Bon’s Bakehouse was part of your story, I’d love to hear your favorite memory 💚
