Well, we really considered this a lot. It's not easy to close even one day as a small business. Friday is a big day, and it's the end of the month. These decisions are never easy. When we close we try to make sure we're doing it because it will matter, and it's the right thing to do. Like when it's so cold it's unsafe to be outside. Or on national days of solidarity like May Day.

What's happening in MN has been appalling. As an immigrant it's especially hard watching it all. I was born in a different country, but have only known the US as my home. I consider myself a Wisconsinite through and through. I can't imagine the pain and fear that is going through the heart of the immigrant community in the cities that have been occupied by ICE. I can't imagine facing being ripped from the only home I've ever known.

We know one day of protest isn't enough. And we know that this was hastily done. But we want the community to know that we stand against these moves by the government to strip people from their homes and families. And we want the community to know that as much as we can provide it, you have safety at our store. From all of us here at Warpstorm Games & Lounge and The Enchanted Cup
