Dear friends,

We have some news to share with you. We first and foremost want to thank you for your unconditional loyalty. We have built many wonderful relationships over the years and are constantly blown away by the love and support we have received from the Greenfield community.

As some of you know, The Greenfield Grind is a family owned and operated business. In 2018, our dad Jim Dawson recognized what downtown Greenfield was lacking: high quality, specialty coffees as well as fresh, hand-made breakfast and lunch. Within the first year of starting this beautiful business, we unexpectedly lost Jim to pancreatic cancer. We have continued to press on through our grief over the last two years and we believe that Jim would be proud. The Greenfield Grind has become a thriving, successful, and dearly-loved local shop that has brought the community closer together. Sadly, the day has come that our family is ready to move on from The Grind and begin new chapters.

The last thing we want to do is close our doors. It is our desire to pass the torch onto someone who sees just how valuable The Grind is to downtown Greenfield. With that being said, we have officially listed The Grind for sale and are actively seeking new ownership and management. Our hope is that this community will band together and spread the word in order to find someone who shares our passion for serving you.

This isn’t goodbye. Maria Dawson, our mom, will continue ownership of the masonic building that The Greenfield Grind operates out of as well as operating our event hall on the third floor Bradley Hall Events and OnSiteCaterer.com along side our brother Jordan Dawson. We are so grateful that you all have made these last three years possible.
